THE PROBLEM

The average life span of a dog in Nicaragua is only 4-6 years. Starvation, malnourishment and tick-borne illnesses are the most common causes of death. For people living in rural Nicaraguan communities, there is no access to a veterinarian or animal medical clinic to find help for their sick and suffering animals. Even if access became available, the medical care for animals is unaffordable for people living in extreme poverty.

WHAT WE DO

We provide rural Nicaraguan communities with access to affordable animal medical care. We give local families the opportunity to spay/neuter their animals, receive life saving medications and vaccinations and provide access to a trusted veterinarian when their animals are sick and suffering. We are a small, steady and sustainable solution to help the animals and people that need us the most!
